Q: What are some of the best
rivalries in college basketball?
A: There are many great rivalries
all across the country but my
personal favorite is Duke-North
Carolina. Michigan-Indiana is a
good one and out west, UCLA
and just about anybody they play
will be a good match up. But Duke-North
Carolina has to be the best rivalry in
college basketball. The schools are
located a few short miles from one
another, both programs have a tradition
of excellence and have been playing up to
those expectations for many years and they play
in the ACC, a conference which I feel is a
basketball-first conference. It doesn't get any better than that.
